On July 13 and 14, two consultative meetings were held in Sofia to discuss the prepared draft of a normative act. Representatives of the project team, experts on the project, representatives of competent institutions, and non-governmental and international organizations actively participated. The draft of the normative act was presented and discussed with the participants, who subsequently provided feedback.
The two meetings were officially opened by Ms. Lubov Panayotova, director of the European Institute and project manager. The discussions were moderated by the members of the team that drew up the recommendations – Mr. Ivan Sharenkov, legal consultant on migration issues, Ms. Irena Tsvetkova, director of the “Legal and Public Procurement” Directorate at ASA, and Prof. Dr. Ivan Vidolov, Rector of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
